Rules For Parents

A note to Parents and Guardians

Every effort made by teachers and the management will go in vain unless the parents co-operate with them wholeheartedly and supervise the daily work and studies made by their wards at home. The normal intellectual, moral and cultural development as well as their character formation depends on the collective effect of the students, teachers and parents.

After each test and exam the parents get a report of their ward's conduct, aptitude to study, progress as recorded in the handbook or on the marks card.

Parental Co-operation

Parents and guardians are expected to co-operate with the school authorities by enforcing regularity and discipline, helping their children or their wards prepare their lessons and taking interest in their school. All efforts made by the teachers with regard to student's training can bear fruit only if parents co-operate. Hence they are requested to visit the school to meet the teachers on days scheduled for the purpose. They can acquaint themselves with attendance, progress and conduct of their children / wards.

Parents will ensure that:
- Fees are paid on scheduled dates.
- Children attend school in the prescribed dress and with the required books.
- Children give enough time at home for lessons and assignments.
- Parents must fill in the fees column with receipt number and date.

Apart from taking interest in the academic work of the school, parents must also encourage their children to take part in co-curricular and external activities organized for the benefit of their children.

Parents are strongly advised not to miss the parent-teacher meetings arranged during the course of the academic year for inquiring about the progress of the children in studies and in other aspects of the school life.

Parents are earnestly requested to sign the progress report or any similar documents when so requested. Failure to do so may put their children and teachers to great inconvenience. Failure to comply with this rule may result in the pupil being sent home, in which case the school disclaims any responsibility.

Students who fail to show remarks and reports and get them countersigned by their parents are liable to be punished and sent home.

Parents, guardians or any other persons are not allowed to meet the students or teachers during the class hours at the door of classrooms. On emergencies they have to contact the principal or PRO.

Private tuitions are discouraged. Private tuition in emergency cases may be resorted to, only after consulting the class teacher or subject teachers. Parents are advised that the members of the staff of the school should not be engaged as private tutors for their children without the written permission of the principal.

The management, Principal and Staff will not be held responsible in any way for any accidents or mishaps that may occur to the student either in the premises or while bringing them to school or carrying them back home by bus. Children who are ill should not be sent to school.
